Nerello Mascalese is a native grape of Sicily's Etna area. Introduced to Sambuca di Sicilia in 1968 by the winery's founder Aurelio Di Giovanna, it has been cultivated by our family for over 50 years.

The beautiful, organically cultivated vineyards are located on the high hillsides of Contessa Entellina on the 'Paradiso' vineyard. The soil is rich in minerals and volcanic tuff.

This is an unoaked, medium bodied 100% Nerello Masalese. If you enjoy Pinot Noir, this is a delicious alternative.
